Delete your Divido account

You can delete your Divido account from inside the app. This page is the public account-deletion URL for app-store review and for users who need deletion instructions outside the app.

Delete from the app

Open Divido on Android or iOS.
Sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open Profile.
Choose Delete account.
Read the confirmation and confirm deletion.

The app sends an authenticated request to Divido's backend account-deletion endpoint. The backend deletes account-owned data handled by Divido and then deletes the Firebase Authentication user.

If you cannot access the app

Email yanayh90@gmail.com from the email address connected to your Divido account and include the subject line Divido account deletion request. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What is deleted

Your Firebase Authentication account.
Your Divido user profile and account preferences.
Your notification installation records and push tokens where controlled by Divido.
Your profile image references and eligible profile image files where controlled by Divido.
Account-owned data that can be removed without breaking another member's authorized group history.

What may be retained

Some shared ledger records, audit history, backups, security logs, purchase records, or legal records may be retained for a limited period when needed to preserve other group members' balances, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, process subscriptions, resolve disputes, or maintain service integrity. Where possible, retained shared records are minimized or disconnected from your active profile.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Divido account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. Manage cancellation in Google Play or the Apple App Store subscription settings.

Public endpoint for developers

The in-app deletion action uses the authenticated backend route DELETE /api/v1/auth/me. This API route requires a valid signed-in user token and is not a public web form.
